Purpose of the project is bridging the knowledge gap in the area of sustainable design and process intextile industry for higher education. Due to the context of caring for the environment, it is necessary to raise awareness of the impact of this industry on the environment. But most importantly, developing innovative solutions and courses of action so that the industry will become less carcinogenic and the end user will receive a safe, high-quality product. The prepared materials will contain not only specific solutions, but will show a whole series of opportunities that can be used in the education process and in business by planning a sustainable pattern of development in the textile industry. they will then be hosted on the Sustainability multimedia platform BOOSTER in Textiles.
The prepared materials will constitute a catalog of good practices for teachers and will be a great teaching aid during classes with students of many technical, economic and artistic faculties. Implementation of the project will also be contributed to the education of specialists expected by the current labor market, who should be prepared for a number of challenges, including the introduction of circular economy standards, measuring and reducing the negative impact on the environment, ensuring appropriate working conditions, as well as implementing transparent rules of communication with the consumer changes taking place in the environment.
